Fan Fights Shut Down Free New Boyz Concert
Fans of the skinny jeans wearing rap duo New Boyz stirred up such a ruckus that the show was shut down not long after it began. The venue planned for only 300 fans to show up to the free concert, but more than 1500 mobbed the shopping center four hours before the show began.
Multiple fights broke out. Someone suffered a seizure. Another person was stabbed with a pen.
By the time the show was finally shut down, the New Boyz had only been able to finish one song.

Katt Williams Arrested For Burglary
Comedian Katt Williams was arrested outside of Atlanta, Georgia overnight, following an incident that resulted in charges of burglary and criminal trespassing.
A deputy at the Coweta County jail, about 40 miles south of Atlanta, has confirmed that Williams remains in custody this morning (November 9).
No additional details about the incident were released.
The arrest comes a year after Williams was arrested in New York City on weapons charges.
Last year, Williams, was in New York for his debut performance at Carnegie Hall, which was scheduled for November 6.

B.G. In Custody On Gun Charges
Another rapper is in the hands of the law for illegal gun possession.
Rapper B.G. is currently in the custody of the Orleans Parish Criminal Sherriff’s Office after being arrested in his hometown on Tuesday night (November 3), the night before he was scheduled to host an exclusive listening session for his latest project.
The former Cash Money recording artist was arrested along with two other individuals following a routine traffic stop.
According to The Times-Picayune’s website, officers from the New Orleans Police Department’s 7th District discovered three hand guns upon searching the late-model Chevrolet Tahoe in which the three were riding.
Along with the three weapons, two of which had been reported stolen, authorities also seized loaded magazines and two extended magazine clips, the police said.
Twenty-nine year-old B.G., born Christopher Dorsey, was charged with illegal carrying of a firearm, as was 28-year-old Jerod Fedison.

THE BEST CYPHER!
I know everyone saw the 2009 Hip Hop awards. One of the best parts of the show was the 3 cyphers. I have two questions:
1. Who had the best cypher?
2. Who had the overall best rhyme?
I think cyper #1 was the best complete cypher and i think KRS-1 had the best overall rhyme.... sorry but the nike thing did it for me.

2009 BET HIP HOP AWARDS
Last night was the airing of the BET hip hop awards show. I personally think it was a great show, Mike Epps did his thing. There were a few things i didn't like but over all it was good. First, i thought Drake should have won MVP of the year. That dude is doing his thing this year, along with Gucci. Second, the tribute to cube was cool but it was too short. He didn't perform or anything. Then they didn't let Dorrough do the original 'Ice Cream Paint Job'. Let that young dude shine on his own. But i was happy to see the shift in hip hop with all of the young artists..... Nipsey Hustle, Nikki Manaj, Soulja Boy, Dorrough..... Goodie Mob performing together was something hip hop needed. Where was Cash Money/Young Money?
